LOCAL HIRING

When it comes to hiring, our preference will be to source talent locally. Check out our jobs page here , where you can submit an application, check on job listings, or check in with one of our hiring professionals. Currently we are in the early stages of development, where our team is studying the site to determine how to construct the operation. When we move into construction we anticipate that our site will need hundreds of talented individuals to build the mine. Once constructed, the Cactus Mine will move into operation, where we expect to employ hundreds over the expected mine life.

Elim Mining is committed to hiring and retaining talent from the region. This work will continue and evolve over the life of our project and we will continue to look for ways that we can benefit regional educational resources from kindergarten through advanced degrees.

NET POSITIVE IMPACT

The unique opportunity was presented to Elim Mining to purchase the remediated mine site with a full environmental baseline study already completed and approved by the ADEQ. It is our mission to meet and exceed environmental standards.

Our commitment to the community is to achieve net positive impact: This means that we will operate responsibly, sustainably, and with a long-term vision of leaving the site in better condition than we found it. The Elim Mining team has a long history of responsible and respectful mining operations. Our team is interested in implementing the same mining ethics on and off the job, in our new home in Pinal County, Arizona.

As an Arizona based company, with Arizonans at heart, we care about the issues you care about. We will be careful stewards of water and minimize dust while bringing jobs and economic activity to the community.  We are committed to fully understanding the impact of our operations and how to address our role within the community and a net positive impact on the local ecosystem.

COPPER – THE FIRST LINK IN TOMORROW’S SUPPLY CHAIN

Copper is an essential building block for technology, green energy, medicine, and so many more industries we need for daily life. As other green industries break ground in Pinal County – electric cars, semi-trucks, solar facilities, and much, much more – the demand for copper will follow. At Cactus, we want to be the first link in the supply chain.
